The course is of a theoretical-practical nature and its main objective is the acquisition of the competence of the upper-intermediate user level, sub level B2 of the Common European Framework of References for Languages in the linguistic skills of oral and written comprehension, and oral and written expression, as well as the notions of vocabulary and grammar to communicate in the workplace and in social and academic contexts.

• Demonstrates familiarity with extended speech and lectures provided that the topic is reasonably familiar.
• Employs specific vocabulary and improved knowledge and critical understanding of the Peruvian culture and Spanish language.
• Is able to understand articles and reports concerned with contemporary problems in which the writers adopt particular attitudes or viewpoints.
• Discusses familiar contexts with a degree of fluency and spontaneity.
• Elaborates detailed texts on a wide range of subjects related to personal interests
