The course is of a theoretical-practical nature and its main objective is the acquisition of the competence of the basic-intermediate User level, sub level B1 of the Common European Framework of References for Languages in the linguistic skills of oral and written comprehension, and oral and written expression, as well as the notions of vocabulary and grammar to communicate in the workplace and in social and academic contexts.

• Uses a range of specific vocabulary to describe the job market and skills and talents.
• Narrates trips, describing important details.
• Compares and contrast information to talk about habits and customs from the past.
• Writes different types of texts according to the level such as email messages, curriculum vitae, academic texts, etc.
• Structures sentences and phrases to communicate with personal and general presentations in a range of contexts: the world of work, travel, historical periods, social relationships.
