The course is of a theoretical-practical nature and its main objective is the acquisition of the competence of the basic User level, sub level A1+ of the Common European Framework of References for Languages in the linguistic skills of oral production, oral comprehension, and written comprehension; as well as notions of vocabulary and grammar to communicate in the workplace, social, and academic.

• Understand expressions and messages in familiar contexts, as well as instructions, and follow directions.
• Comprehends texts at a basic level, identifying general and specific information.
• Provides information about their interests, opinions, feelings, and everyday activities using grammatical structures and vocabulary appropriate for the level.
• Ask and answer questions about personal and academic topics at the elementary level.
• Write short texts to communicate opinions, plans, and intentions in the present, past, and future, at the elementary level.
