The course is of a theoretical-practical nature and its main objective is the acquisition of the competence of the basic User level, sub level A1 of the Common European Framework of References for Languages in the linguistic skills of oral production, oral comprehension, and written comprehension; as well as notions of vocabulary and grammar to communicate in the workplace, social, and academic.

• Develop oral comprehension to interact in class situations and everyday life.
• Develop oral production for daily class participation, real situations interaction, such as personal and general introduction.
• Learn functional vocabulary to be used in the classroom according to the level in an academic context or daily situations.
• Understand texts at an elementary level.
• Write texts according to the level such as paragraphs with personal information, descriptive texts, recipes, etc.
